Alfio Graziani was born in Roncoferraro in the province of Montova, Italy, in 1900.  He studied art at the Cignoroli Academy of Verona, then at the Academy of Brera, where he was a student of Alciati and Cesare Tallone.

In 19223 he participated in the National Exposition of Fine Arts in Brera and Milan, where he continued to exhibit frequently.  In 1930 he exhibited in the Biennial Exhibition in Venice, where he also returned in 1932, 1934 and 1936.  Also in 1930, he sent work to the exhibition of Italian Art in Barcelona.  From 1931 to 1943 he participated in all the exhibits of the Four-Year Roman Exhibition Series.  From 1935 on, he exhibited at the International Exhibitions and also sent work to Budapest, Prague, Krakow, Monaco, Bucharest and Sofia.  Also to Birmingham and Hannover in England.
